    Which Sony laptop compares to the T61p and NP2090? I've heard good things about Sony screens, are they really that much better than the rest? How is the build quality and reliability of Sony laptops?

    None :p Sony always puts underwhelming GPUs in their laptops, meaning they don't have a 15" on the market with one of the 8600M GT derivatives (assuming that's important to you since you mentioned the T61P instead of the T61).
