    Out of the two I would say the FZ is the pick.
    When I was looking recently I did some comparisions and the FZ, even in the configuration shown is by far the better machine.

    In the end for me it was a toss up between a Higher Spec FZ and T61.
    The T61 is the one I went for and have not regreted it one bit.
    I have had Vaios in the past and have found them reliable so it was a leap of faith to get the T61.

    The FZ is just a good looking machine with the "goods" to back it up.
