As the topic says, anyone know which particular models / lines use LED screens now?

The Sony TX (and new TZ series) uses LED backlit screens.
The premium Sony SZ's use them as well.... these are basically anything with a model number equal to or over x5x...... so the SZ370,SZ450,460,etc. have LED-backlit screens, but the SZ430 does not.
I think that's pretty much it for now.

I'm not sure, maybe the UX?

Oh... bah... all that we sell @ Best Buy are the SZ430s lol... I have yet to see a VAIO with an LED screen... at least one that i *know* is a LED screen... the FE880s we used to carry... those screens were VERY bright
I really liked that model /sniff...

You don't carry the TX there? Most Best Buys I've been to not only carry them but have them out on display.
Either way, if you have a SonyStyle store around you, they normally have the premium SZ's there.
The LED-backlit SZ screen is amazing in my opinion compared to the non-premium SZ screen. Just very bright and crisp. You can see the same quality in the TX series.
The FE and FZ screens are definitely very nice - not LED backlit, but still quite bright.

I was thinking that too, but at least from the specs I've read for it, it isn't LED-backlit. But it is still very bright, and also very crisp because of the high pixel density in such a small screen.
Which VAIO Models offer LED screens?
