Hey all,
Quick question, for warranty/reference purposes, which of the stickers on the bottom of the VAIOs (Vaio Z) in my case are safe to remove? I was thinking of removing all but the Windows 7 sticker and the white bar code serial number/model number stickers.. can anyone confirm which ones are not recommended to be removed?
Thanks!

This might be none of my business but I'm curious on why do you want to remove them?

I removed them all except the one with the service tag/serial number and product code. But from my experiences with Sony, all you have to do is fax them your reciept if you have a problem with the Vaio. EVEN though I bought it through them on SonyStyle =.=. But yeah, I'd remove them all if you want, actually, i'm out of warranty so i'm going to do that. Keep your service tag sticker i was talking about though, it's important since they want that data.
Because they're ugly
. I removed all my Core i7 sticker and energy star stickers etc. Some people like those (my roommate) but I think it looks tacky. To each their own of course

though why someone would be interested in the 'beauty' of a laptop's bottom is beyond me

I agree with the OP.
That's why I love the design of MacBooks. They're gorgeous, in and out. Bottom too.
That said, I removed all top stickers on my Z, but I don't have enough balls to touch the bottom ones. Same goes for flashing BIOS. -
