    White VAIO CA series in UK?

    Hi guys!

    I've been wanting to buy a CA series laptop for a while now. However, if you look at Sony shop in UK, CA are only availble in blue, orange, red, pink and green. I think those colours are a bit daft and as I need a laptop for work, I don't see myself buying any of them.

    I'd love to get a white one or in worst case a black one and only C series are available in those colours. What confuses me though is that this website offers a CA series laptop in white!

    How comes that you can't buy one on the Sony website but you can from some random reseller?

    Does anyone know where I could buy one with the configuration I want?

    It's hard to say for sure from the model number on the non-Sony site, but I'm assuming the CAs on Sony's site are the "refreshed" models like we received here in US (we're now on CA290, used to have CA190 when it came out). In this process, we lost the orange color choice and got blue in its place. I'm thinking the white may have been from you guys' version of the CA #1 and you all don't have white as an option anymore for CA #2.

    Perhaps maybe a decent comparison is that we still have the C B190 here and it is still offered in orange. Hopefully that makes sense.

    I really don't understand the decision to not even bother including such standard colors as black in the whole 14" range. I don't mind having the green and orange if they want so but give me the possibility to buy the product I like in the colors I like!

    I hope it's going to change. If not the unfortunately I will have to look for other laptops :(
