    Ordered mine on the 17th of Jan but the order still says processing. Anyone else?

    I just ordered my FZ on the 25th but the order is still "processing", have you recieved any updates as to the expected ship date?

    No emails nothing yet from Sony and still says processing like yours. At least they could send me an email since my original anticipated ship date was the 28th

    I went back to the Sony site and went through the motions of entering another CTO and the site came back with and estimated ship date of 2/12/08. I imagine that if all goes "well" that that would be the latest that they ship mine. With ground shipping I probably wouldn’t get it until 2/20 after the holiday?! That’s a long time to wait.

    I ordered on the 15th and received an email that it would ship on/around 2/5/08. Hopefully that's true.

    I cancelled my order today. I don't think this is a special price or anything. One of the main reasons I got the FZ or the Dell 1530 was the screen quality problems which sounds like they are fixing. Since this may not even ship for several more weeks I'm holding off until the new Dell 1530's come out.

    I did love my FZ290 when I had it.

    Received email after I cancelled the order Feb 19th or around that date as well. Cancelled mine since I might go with the Dell 1530 if the LG screens are better. Get a lot more for the same money.

    Yeah, I just can't do the Dell. I've seen way too many piece of crap Dell's in my experience plus I want a Blu-Ray player and not a burner. If they had Penryn and a Blu Ray ROM only, I'd highly consider it.

    But man, Feb 19? Are you kidding me? When does montevina come out? the week after? lol

    I got the same 2/19 email for my SZ. This tells me it's a Penryn (T9300) issue.

    sony hasnt even got the new chips yet. or at least that's what they're saying. this wait could very well kill me....

    The horse's mouth - Sony, themselves. I called today to check on it and she said that there was a delay or something with the penryn chips. She said they were supposed to be in on Jan 28, but that they weren't in yet.
