    Hello,

I checked both the Canadian and US website, and they dont offer 330ms anymore, instead its 211m / 310m, and they perform at about half the ability of the 330ms

Why? It's such a huge downgrade!

Bestbuy still has the CW with the 330. Although it can't be customer, at least it's out there for you to consider

Because Nvidia is getting bad yields on the GPU for the GT330 and can't meet demand.

Exactly. Sony has shipping contracts to fulfill to places like Newegg and other online and brick & mortar retailers. To barely meet those contracts and with the bad yields on 40nm GPU dies, they can't feature them for sale as pre-built models yet, until they have built up stock on them a little more.

A sony representative said it was an exclusive product when i asked the same question.

Best buy has more in stock now, and it is cheaper to buy from them.

I can go to sonystyle or the sony outlet store locally and order one with the GT330, but they just don't stock them regularly like the G310m models.

Would low yield have anything to do with low reliability?

My Best Buy, Futureshop (Canada) doesnt have these, the only thing on their website are i3s with integrated graphics. I also have to go through Sony Canada because of the $404 quoted trade-in value of my M1330.

All CW models come with NVIDIA graphics of some kind. The low models come with the G310m (G211 in Canada), or the GT330m in the high-end models.

    According to this page,

    http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product...720&path=bc1240c08853cbbd1888688bb2cb3d56en02

If you click specifications, you'll see that it has an i3 330m (not to be confused with the Nvidia) processor, and Intel PM55 Express Chipset as graphics. But either way, i'd be getting the 211m from the sony website.
