My wireless switch on my Z seems to not function.

When I turn it off, I maintain my wireless connection. The light turns off, but my connection maintains.

Why does this happen? How can I fix it?

How about reinstalling the Intel Wireless network driver or something? Try it out & see if it solves your problem...
