I`ve a sz680 with Vista and I want sometimes to leave some music downloading in torrent or emule. But everytime i leave downloading it, i don`t know why, the note turn off the wi-fi after i switch user or lock the note. I already put in the power management in every option that there are "never" to turn off the lid, or hd, or anything there is. But after +- 20min i lock the note, i think the wi-fi gets disconnected, and just when i log in again the wi-fi gets back. Anyone knows what option i must change to allow the wi-fi don`t get disconnected after i lock the note?

I am not sure but it needs some registry tweak, anyway it's not hardware related... I'll try to get some more info on that for you...

    I found it!
It's a XP trick but maybe you wanna try it on your Vista machine...
I am pretty sure it can't hurt your machine, just give it a try!

    Go to registry then to
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

Right click in the right pane, select New/String Value. Name the value KeepRasConnections and set it to 1. Reboot.

I hope it will work :)
