Anyone have issues with their Intel 5100 wifi cards... Mine restarts itself periodically for no reason with a strong signal. Not a huge deal but if I am downloading something it sucks. Also it almost always needs to be manually "restarted" from sleep, it gives the "Local only" reading on my connection status until I "diagnose", and then select to restart my wifi adapter... I have a Dell that never loses a signal but runs a Dell Wifi card, I was under the assupmtion that the Intel ones were better...

I have have the latest drivers for the wifi card from sony as well...

    Also one other question....

How do you remove the keyboard to get to the card? I saw pictures of someone doing it to his Z, but I don't know hoe he did it?

    Thanks for any help...

I believe this is in your power manager settings! Make sure you set it so it doesnt shutdown when idle! This should solve your problem. Run a virus scan just to be safe also. If nothing helps and there is no virus, I will give Sony customer service a call right away with no delay. I suggest you to demand to speak with a manager and escalate the issue to speed up the process of fixing your notebook. Good luck!
