Hi I just ordered a Vaio Z590 and am deciding what monitor(s) to order to go with it. Specifically, I was wondering if it would drive a 30" monitor (2560x1600). The 9300m graphics card specs appear to support it, but I've heard that the Z supports only up to 1920x1200. I'm getting the docking station too, would this help?

If not, I was thinking of dual 24", but I've read that no one has gotten the Z to work with multiple external monitors either; is this true? In another post someone recommended the Matrox Triplehead2Go, but that doesn't appear to support 2 external monitors at 1920x1200 resolution + the internal screen.

    thanks much!!!

Vaio Z doesn't support 2560x1600 resolution with or without the docking station. It has no Dual Link video output.
Matrox Triplehead2go Digital Edition does support 2 external monitors at 1920x1200 resolution. The internal screen is powered by the laptop graphic card.
The best monitor for this setup imho is a 27" NEC MultiSync LCD2690WUXi2 - 27" and 1920x1200 resolution.
