    Will newer games play well on Sony?

    Will newer games such as Crysis, Spore, and Fallout 3, run well on an FW-290? I will be getting ith 2.26ghz, 4gig memory, and the ati hd3650 vid card.

    They will run, probably not on Very super high but definately at least medium, apart from crysis me thinkgs

    Agreed. The HD3650 should be capable of running them, although it isn't a powerhouse by any stretch of imagination. Spore in particular should run pretty well--it doesn't have huge requirements.

    The best GPU any of Sony's notebooks have (that I'm aware of) is a Geforce 9600GT. It's technically in the same class as that 3650, but more powerful (plus generally better drivers, etc.)

    Those are low end GPUs by today's standards (though almost high-end by notebook standards). but at any rate, a 9600GT will run any game out. Not always on high, but they'll run.
