Hi, I'm new to this forum.

Core Duo 2s are released next month, do you think prices of Core Duo laptops will drop?

I'm currently looking at the Sony FE series and I want to buy one now. However, should I wait a couple of weeks to get a better deal?

    Thanks.

yes they will drop, but not when Core 2 Duo is initially released. Intel wants to get as many Core 2 Duo's on top the market as possible, and will most likely lower the price of Core Duo, when there enough. This may be October, or November, as Core 2 Duo is being released some time in August. It will take some time before you can see Core 2 Duo's flood the market.
