    Will the S-Series come in more colors?

    I have been waiting for the S-series to release, but I am not crazy about the color options. What are the chances that more colors will come out? What is the usual timeline for color updates?

    I dunno, maybe you can call into sony support and ask them. Then when the rep says they don't know, complain and attempt to get a discount because you were forced to settle with silver or black. :D

    In any case, if you are in the market for one with a blu-ray drive, you might consider jumping on it now... I just noticed that the upgrade from DVD to Blu-ray (read and write) is $150... while the upgrade to Blu-ray (read only) is $500!

    Thanks, I did try calling (and chatting) and was told that they had no information about future products, but I could request my color preferences on the "feedback" on the site.

    I was hoping we'd have the same color options as the UK.

    I can't wait long to upgrade my dying laptop, so I am going to go ahead and order one that's available now.
