    I'd love to get the SZ at 1680 x 1050 or a CR at 1440 x 900 - any chance of either of these happening anytime soon?

    No because the SZ is being replaced by the SR and Z series. Maybe they and the CR might get a 1440x900 screen.

    It is possible for the screen resolution to go up but the problem is its expensive, especially in screens of 13.3 inches. Its likely that the upper end versions of the FZ (called the FW apparently) will have a higher resolution as it was one of the main complaints about the FZ.
