    I plan to buy Sony VAIO VGN-FS680 in few weeks. It has the latest Intel chipset 915PM or something Sonoma.

    Will there be any new chipset coming in? If yes, I prefer to wait, if not, I'll just order it.

    Please advise

    Next year, when the dual core Pentium M processors come in, the 945 chipset will replace the 915 chipset. But as that's still far off, I recommend that you just buy the notebook you want right now.
