    Hi there

I am a current owner of VGN-SZ650NC and using AC Adapter (VGP-AC19V25) and according to the marketing material my laptop power requirements is 105W + 10% and I am planning to get a smaller AC Adapter (VGP-AC16V10) and it is good for a VGN-TT180C with Power Requirements is 68 W + 10%.

May I know if I buy a VGP-AC16V10 will this AC adapter can supply enough power to my laptop ?

Please kindly advise ASAP and many thanks in advance.

    Well, no
The VGP-AC16V10 is 65 watts, so, you need to make certain the battery is charged if you plan to use the computer to its fullest.

But lets say you make sure you don't use it at full speed, and you got something at around 70watts, it will be able to drive the computer. However, it will mean you will have almost no charging whatsoever unless you close down the computer. That's really not a good thing, imo.

It won't work, figure after AC is voltage, AC19xx is 19V, AC16xx is 16V

Yup, any AC19Vxx adapter will work with your notebook, while the VGP-AC16Vxx have typically been for the T series and it's siblings (T, TX, TXN, TZ, and TT).
