Looking for some help on my VGN-NW350F. I just completed a semi-clean install and I can't get the WINDVD BD program to run. It crashes about 5 sec after startup (no splash screen or anything). I have tried reinstalling it numerous times from the recovery partition and recovery disks. Anyone have good ideas?

Sony customer service has not provided any useful information.

You might try running through the windows updates and getting your system fully patched. I'm not certain, but I know a few issues in the past with DVD or Bluray playback were affected by certain operating system updates.

Perfect, the link worked. Apparently it is an older version, 8 vs what came installed v10, but no big deal. At I can play blu-rays now. Thanks for the help.
