    Hi all,

I'm in a preparation of exchanging HDD in my TX51B/B. I could just clone my old HDD to new one, but as it was never reinstalled I would prefer to do the install again.

I decided not to do the clean install as I want my system to be in japanese and JP XP disc are not so easy to get.

But I burned the recovery DVDs, one is called Application Recovery Disc, second one System Recovery Disc. My question is, is it possible to install new copy of WinXP on my new HDD from these recovery DVDs? If so, is it the usual way (hit F3, choose boot from CD/DVD drive in BIOS and put in the Recovery DVD)? If so, should I put there the System DVD (even though it was burned as 2/2)? Will it be already installed with all drivers and Sony apps?

    Thanks,
    eM :spinny:
