You need to do a clean install. For this you'll need an XP cd. If your computer didn't come with one, you'll have to either request one from sony or burn an ISO from the hard disk, if your system has such a utility (not familiar with sony, sorry)

Then you'll have to install all of the drivers from the Sony website.

I'd suggest downloading them first and putting 'em on a flash drive or CD. At least get the network drivers if this is your only computer so that you'll be able to connect to the internet after reformatting.

    cheers

In addition to Vespoli's advice, make sure you download your hard drive drivers. I think that the SZ comes with a SATA hard disk, so th normal Windows CD will not have drivers on it already.

OP does not need an unattended installation; those are for IT guys who have to roll out a large number of installs in a short amount of time.

the problem OP is having is that the reinstall disc or image he is using is from sony and has all the bloatware builtin.

OP needs a clean version of windows that does not come with the bloatware. try contacting sony for a bloatware-free disc

Sony provides instructions for doing a clean install of Windows here. Or you might try doing a semi-restore as described in this thread.
