    Hi@all,

i´m thinking about a clean installation of the new fall creators update on my VAIO SVS13 device but i´m not sure if something special is needed or i´ve to prepair before doing this. Last time i recover my device to windows 8, upgrade to 8.1 and then installed windows 10 on my system but i think a clean install would be the best.

But what drivers are needed and which tools from sony? I think i can find all on the sony website but what about the keys ASSIST WEB VAIO and the STAMINA SPEED switch...any tipps for doing this without problems?

Thank you very much and greetings,
    SirRobin

    clean install is absolutely recommended.

However, installing drivers and apps may need to be done in a very specific order, which again depends on the specific model. So there are different threads here in the forum for different models.
I recommend you to adjust the title of your post to include your Model, if you can. This way people with the same model will find your question quicker. Or try forum search. Or Google...

I've just done a clean install of a Sony Vaio E series, just about all the latest drivers from Sony threw errors and wouldn't work with the Creators edition of Win10.

It's useful to have a cloned back-up with boot files on a similar drive so you can swap back and forth between the old edition of windows and the creators edition.
