    Hi.

Has anyone managed to get 32bit Windows 7 on this model with full functionality? I'm trying to help somebody on another forum, but despite installing the drivers and software from the CS17G Support page, this is where we are at...

    1) Touch Panel not working. (not the mouse pad)
    2) FN Zoom Keys not working.
    3) Vaio Launcher in some other language. (Despite installing in English)
    4) Battery Checker. (How do you remove it?)

    ...any help greatly appreciated.

Try the drivers from US model CS-190. Vaio Launcher is in Chinese (problem with the software), you can look at my guide for making it functional. Why did you install the Battery checker? It can be removed form the Programs lst or manually delete the folder.
Fn keys require intalling the Sony utilities and drivers in the correct order. Sony shared library should be the first.

    Thanks for the tip.

They've installed them as advised on the install guide, but still no joy.
