I installed Windows 7 home premium 32bit on my SZ260p (with core 2 duo t7200), and I'm having a lot blue screens, and then shuts down.
It's dual boot with Vista and I don't get blue screens with that, performed a memory test within Windows 7 and no problems, and HDtune no problem either.

Are there more people getting BSOD?

    Not that I know of.

What Sony utils do you have installed? Which versions? Win7 or Vista?
The Sony Win 7 Utils for the newer SZ's are terrible (lacks drivers and no brightness adjust among other things), but may be okay for the older models. Some Sony utils for Vista will crash Win7 764, not sure about 32, but it's possible.

You can also try downloading "Bluescreen View" which will tell you what has been crashing. It's a handy utility to decipher bluescreen messages, it even pulls up past ones. Or just start removing the Sony Utils if you have them, if not, just start uninstalling anything else and hope things stop. If it is one of these, odds are there is one that will work without crashing. The ones in my guide (in my sig) will work on Vista, and 7 in both 32 and 64bit but may require using "Universal Extractor" to install them

I have everything working, brightness fingerprint reader and even webcam.
Sometimes it doesn't show the bar when you change volume or brightness.

I've downloaded bluescreenview and it lists all sorts of blue screen, I'm not sure what to do with it, I'll try to upload a screenshot, maybe you can help me.

It's the hardware abstraction layer crashing (notice the halmacpi.dll).
The Sony utility that controls the function keys (brightness/volume) is most likely causing it. Could be the Sony drivers itself.

Do you have Windows set to download drivers automatically? It's in control panel/system/hardware tab/device install settings. Also, go into device manager, there should be two Sony drivers, make sure they are up to date.

If they are, you can try rolling them back. After that you need to start looking for a different version of the utilities. Start trying some of the links at the bottom of my guide, a few list places to get different Sony utilities (or use the Universal Extractor tool and just hit up newer models than you have). I really think it may be the drivers though.

Ok, checked for automatically install of new drivers, was enabled.
Can't find the two Sony drivers in the devicemanager, but then again I don't know where there listed under.
I've performed a HD check for errors (with HDtune pro), al good.
Cleaned the registry with Clean my PC.
I haven't had a BSOD since a day, so all looks good.

Going try to reinstall some drivers.

The two Sony drivers are in Human Interface Devices.
