Vaio VGN-SZ480
NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400
I ran Windows 7 Update advisor prior to upgrading from Vista (as advised on the Sony website) and confirmed my notebook was compatible.
Now my video adapter is not recognized. Windows 7 lists it as 'Standard VGA Graphics Adapter' and it is displayed in the hardware manager as '1. Generic Non-PnP Monitor' I cannot set the resolution to above 1024 x 768
I tried downloading the Vista video driver as advised on the Sony website but I get the error 'This update is not intended for use with your computer model'
I tried downloading the video driver from the NVIDIA site but I get the following error 'The NVIDIA setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit'
