    I'm curious to know if Sony will be distributing drivers for Windows 7 for a 2007 VGN FZ-190 running Windows Vista Ultimate.

    If you do a search for messages from a member named dr.pratek you will find his notes on successfully using the existing Vista drivers and auxiliary apps with Win7. He has it running with all functionality on an FZ-190. He and I correspond via Skype and I just talked with him about this last week, as I am about to try an upgrade to Win7 (rather that a clean install). He used my guide for a Vista clean install (see my signature line) to do a clean Vista install some time ago and then again to do the Win 7 install.

    He is not on here regularly due to his responsibilities at the hospital, so I doubt if he will respond here. But if you find his posts on the subject (use the advanced search and search for them by user name) you can reply to one of his posts and he might respond.

    I am running Windows 7 RC X64 in my FZ-190. I managed to get everything working except the special button and the Wireless Switch switching utility.
