Short and Sweet
I installed win7rc on TZ191 with 32 gb ssd
Very nice, at least now I have 20 gb free space!
But some things are not working- most notably the motion eye camera- I really want that!
I did download the drivers from sony e support, didn't fix the problem the sytem sees the camera and says it is functioning but there is no way to turn it on.
And the independent buttons av controls dont seem to work either
Any solutions?- I hate go back to Vista Hog again...
WiFi works - Wireless printing works - Bluetooth works -Biometric works
Any help>?Alan

uh oh I guess my head is in the sand here and we aren't supposed to mention this topic?

You need to install the VAIO Event Service and Sony DLLs and Controls for the buttons to work.
I'm running Windows 7-7260 x32 on a TZ160C and my camera (VGP-VCC7) works fine. -
Thanks Im a little lost Not exactly sure where to download those files from- I think I find updates but not installable files -
-My TZ191 work a lot smoother and even seem cooler tempretaure wise with Win 7 but I'd sure AIO features to work
Left on my own here I may have to put back clean Vista that I have but at least all the Sony drivers are on it.. -
Well I seem to have the camera working but I had to load Adobe Flash - app
and so far that was a test in facebook app
I simply want to have all the features working the way they were with Vista- but again that must be why they call it eval copy
SONY says they will release upgrade discs for 7 in October for my model(s)
7 seems to be great thing for this machine which only has 32 gb of of ssd
Yay.. -
Sony's Support site has all the files: http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-list.pl?mdl=VGNTZ191N
