Hello guys, I have read the forum and seems like a lot of you guys installed windows 7 on your laptops. I only have two simple questions; the first one is whether the beta windows 7 that is available for download more stable than windows vista? (I only use this laptop for hw, and i need it to be quite stable for school). Second, will the Drivers & programms that comes with Sony work on windows 7? Eg. webcams, networking, videocard drivers, Roxio, etc.

It's beta. Although it has been reported as the most stable windows beta ever, you can assume it is not as stable as vista. I've had a few issues on my desktop computer, so I haven't installed it on my sony Z. Don't install it as your main OS on your laptop. Besides, the beta will only work for a few months, then you'll have to start all over again with either a retail version of 7, or you'll have to go back to vista. Id' recommend sticking with vista.
