    Just installed windows 7.
Everything works Yet im wondering what the best settings are. i disabled write caching for my harddrive. using vaio settings for power and letting windows adjust for best appearance. any suggestions. i dont notice any difference in speed whatsoever. Lets here everyones thoughts for those of using and tweaking windows 7.

BTW: not about installing but about adjusting the settings

Found one Tweak... To speed up booting go to msconfig.exe boot options advanced options. select select two processors from pull down. This works, already lighting fast returning from hibernate

You have to give Windows 7 enough time to determine the battery estimate; use windows 7 enough and it will get better

it will estimate based on how you use it; so as you switch battery profiles it will learn and estimate for each based on prior usage; that is how i understand it to work
