I've been running W8 for a couple of months now with no real drama. Today I downloaded the official Sony drivers and now my CPU is running 100% all the time.

    Not sure which driver.

    Anyone else seen this?

The culprit is the Intel Wireless LAN Driver Version 15.5.0.43.0831. The Sony file name is INDWLL-80275587-0082.

Were you able to fix it? If so, how?

No, I reverted to a previous checkpoint and didn't install it. There is a second driver for this device with a smaller version number but a newer date that seems to work ok.

Can you give me a link to the second driver? I already installed the flawed driver and now my CPU is at 100%, and the fan runs all the time! Any idea how to uninstall it? I don't have a checkpoint to revert to.

Should report this to Sony tech support lads, that way at least they know about it and can try fix it in future.

Same problem here, already installed the other driver but do not have a restore point to go back to. Anyone know how to uninstall the other driver? What I have done is uninstalled the Wireless LAN adapter itself and the cpu came down immediately. However, once I reinstall the adapter the cpu moves up to 100% again. Please help!
