    Hi Guys,

i wanted to tryout Win8 on my VPCSA.
Well, the install was smooth. the only thing i needed to disable was USB3.0, but i could live with that for now.
The problem is, that the Notebook gets very loud now.
Even in quietmode it gets loud.
2nd Problem, the Wifi connection seems to be very slow and i cant get my usual 3MBit, its only around 700kBit.

Does anyonly else got these problems aswell or knows any solutions?

    Thanks in advance :)

Yes, same problem here - fan is very loud; machine gets far too hot, and (subjectively) battery life is much lower than under Windows 7. Must be a power thing, but I'm not sure how I go about adjusting it. It's somewhat annoying - I suppose this is the fundamental problem with laptops - the inherent lack of control and everything locked down by the manufacturer. Probably serves me right for upgrading to WIndows 8, but I do actually think it's a really good OS, and I'm not going back to Windows 7 (I think).
