    Windows Firewall Error

    hello i own a vaio e-series VPCEA363A. I'm getting an error 1068:the dependency service or group failed to start whenever i try starting windows firewall. Also when i try to open windows firewall from the control panel and use recommended setting i get an error code 0x8007042c. I have tried many things to fix this but with no success. So i think ill just do a system restore to the date where i got my laptop, but how can i do that?

    To select a restore point. Right click 'Computer' and click properties. On the left side pane there is an option 'System Protection', click that. You will see the button for system restore, then select the date you wish to restore to.

    the oldest restore date is 30.12.2011. I want to restore it to the date i got my laptop
