    Windows Registration in FW?

    I'm going to buy fw390JFB!
    When for the first time you turn on your notebook, the windows coming up
    and try to install.
    after that do i need to register or active vista? :confused:

    No, not when you first get it. ;)

    When it comes, it already is installed and registered with an OEM Key. You only need to put one in (usually) if you reinstall the OS.

    i don't get it. you mean after i recoverd windows for another time (it need registration)?
    is the vaio notebook can be recoverd for more than once or twice?

    when you say you recovered windows...do you mean you yourself reinstalled windows? if thats the case, it will definately ask you to register/activate windows bud.

    Later on, if you "Restore it to Factory Settings" with your recovery Disks that came with it, you will usually need to use a key then. But its either witht he CD, or on the bottom of your notebook. ;)
