    Hi all,

anybody that can help with my problem?
I´m trying to install windowsxp on my FX201 (700Mhz/192MB ram) and immediatelly when the installation starts, I mean the "installing devices" BSOD appears with message "PFN_LIST_CORRUPT". I already replaced RAM but it doesn´t help.

    Thanks.

Have you tried the install with another windows XP cd?

Also, if you have issues with the bios, such as a misconfiguration of IRQ's, windows may hate you.

Just reset to factory defaults for the second one.

    Hope that helps :)

    What I did:

I uploaded new bios (XP version) --> sucessfull
I tried 2 cds of XP (with and without SP1)
In BIOS I disabled all ports (serial, parallel)
In BIOS I switch Plug and Play OS to No

    This is what I did.

Actually I´m considering to remove installed modem.
