    So here's the deal,
One day Vista's starting files corrupted on me, so I can't get on Vista. I have Ubuntu dual-booted on here which is what I'm using now. I hate it. I hate it thiiiiiiiiis much.
So what I'm asking is, how do I manually wipe this laptop? My plan is once I wipe it, I'll just install XP or Vista. Problem with THAT is, my XP disc, whenever I try to install it, says there's no hard drives connected to the computer.

tl;dr: How do I wipe my Sony VAIO laptop from the boot screen?

Edit: Didn't think I was clear enough on this; I can NOT access Windows.
