Perhaps some of you are having this issue as well:

Whenever I log on to my computer vista almost instantly connects to my wireless home network and gets full access relatively quickly. However as soon as the Wireless Switch Setting Utility (version 3.6) is loaded into the notification area of the taskbar I lose connection and it has to connect all over again. This wouldn't be so bad (as I usually give the computer a few seconds to load the few remaining utilities I've allowed at startup), but it takes far longer to get connected than initially upon startup. Additionally, after the utility loads I keep getting that obnoxious "ACCESS: LOCAL ONLY" crap. When it eventually fully connects it's great, but it's really annoying.

    So what I'm wondering is:

If I remove this utility will all the wireless settings function properly? Will I still be able to use the Fn+F1 combo to switch on WWAN and Bluetooth only when I desire? And just as important, will the computer remember my last setting so that I don't have to constantly turn the WWAN and Bluetooth off when I restart my computer?

    Any thoughts?
