    Wireless configuring issues in Vaio Z

    Guys today i received my vaio Z 590...But by default my wireless connection is not getting recognized in Z... Every time when i close my lid and open it again my wireless connection would have gone and when i try to connect to the wireless system asked me to connect my wireless router through a cable....Do anybody have any idea about this issue....

    Are you sure it's not just that your laptop is going to sleep when you close the lid (and thus interrupting wireless connection)? I believe the default action when closing the lid is to sleep. Check in the power management settings to see what is the setting for when the lid is closed...

    When I configure my TT with the wireless router, once it is successfully connect, it asked me if I wanted to save the settings. I did, and everytime, it would connect with me taking any action. I think the key is to save the settings.

    This issue got resolved....What i saw was in one of the VAIO configuration tool the wireless radio was off....Actually i didn't turn it off manually.... Somehow the wireless got turned off and i was able to reset it by myself....Thanks guys for all the help....
