I have been having problems with my net connection dropping randomly! I have a VGN-FE41E and a Netgear DG834GT wireless Modem, I have tried different firmwares in the modem and the most stable seems to be V1.01.00 :D but it does still drop so in my wisdom I uninstalled the Wireless Switch utility with a view to reinstalling it, I downloaded the latest version and tried to reinstall but installation doesnt seem to compleat  the install wizard just disappears?

Any ideas how I can stabalise my connection (Is it the Netgear Modem?) and how can I get back the wireless switch??

the wireless switch program is useless unless you want to turn on only wifi without bluetooth. If you dont have a bluetooth module in your laptop, that wireless switching utility is useless. I'm using fe-880 which has no bluetooth module so i never use the wireless switching software. When I used this software last time, sometimes after I booted up the computer, the wireless tends to be dropped and must be turned on again with that switching utility.

Try updating your wireless driver to the latest driver available.
