    Hello ppl,
    i have a sony vaio sve14a15fnb laptop.recently i sent my sony laptop for servicing...but after that,my wireless functions are not working.Earlier my network adapter shows intel centrino wireless lan,but now it shows Dell wireless 1701 802.11 b/g/n...also my bluetooth functions are also not working....is there a seperate drivers for that??...because all i could find in sony website are intel wireless drivers...am i missing something...any help is greatly appreciated thanks

    Where did you send your laptop to?
    This model has wifi and bluetooth on the same minipcie card.
    I believe, the shop has switched your wifi card.

    I have sent my laptop to a certified sony servicing centre(country is india)...do you think they switched the wifi adapter??

    Yes quite certainly, there is no other explanation otherwise. Was there an issue with your wireless and Bluetooth, why did you send the laptop in, in the first place? You should speak to them immediately. It's amazing that they sent it out with a dell card instead of an atheros or other manufacturer. I guess stuff like this is bound to happen when you go out of business and sell your PC business to a group of Japanese investors.
