Uninstall the Vaio Smart Network, and use Windows to connect to a wireless network. You must install the correct version of VSN that came with your model.
-
They did not gave me CD with VSN, where can I download it?
-
You can download from Sony support here VAIO : Sony Europe
You need to install all the Sony software and drivers in the right order for VSN to work properly.
Generally, the order is Sony shared library, SFEP driver, Notebook utilities, and then VSN. -
So i need to install all of these programs?
-
Can you name me the exact files in proper order which i have to install?
-
Find these from the support site: Sony shared library, Sony firmware extension parser (available thru Windows Update), Vaio event service, Setting utility series, Vaio control center, and Vaio smart network.
Install them in the order mentioned above. -
I cannot find Sony firmware extension parser
(
-
Get it from Windows Update.
-
I don`t know how to search through windows update
-
Start> All Programs > Windows Update > Check for updates > Choose the SFEP driver in optional update.
-
but there is no SFEP look, accept me on skype..
-
Get the SFEP driver here then ftp://ftp.vaio-link.com/PUB/VAIO/ORIGINAL/SFEP_DRIVER_SONY_8.0_09Q3_S_7_8.0.1.1.ZIP
-
How to install this, tnhere is no setup file?
-
I`ve done it! Thanks alot..
