I have an fw480 and it runs all my games pretty good. The only issue is with unreal3 engine games. Bioshock, Mass effect, Batman Arkhham asylum. the realtek hd audio onboard causes all of these games to crash. Its very very lame. Other than that i am very satisfied. Most games will play on high at 1280x720. Older games and MMO's get destroyed by our systems. Anyone have a fix for the realtek issue or experience the same things.

Okay I tried to play GTA san andreas for the PC on my new FW490 with the ati 4650 card, and I was disappointed that I could not get playable frame rates at 1920x1080 when I was in high-traffic areas of the game. I had to turn it down to 1280x720 and then turn the image quality down to high from very high to stop the stuttering. Needless to say I am quite dissappointed by this. Why would such an old game be giving this system problems?

If you are a gamer, I would consider overclocking the HD4650. Use AMD GPU Tool 9.26 and you can also monitor it with Techpowerups Utility GPU-z 3.6. When you run either utility, you'll find that Sony or ATI placed a ceiling of 450/600 clock speeds. You can easily bump it up to 500+/800. But be sure to run stability tests so that your computer doesn't crash.
