    I think it will work perfectly fine, it's a nice LCD btw, the only issue you might face would be finding a suitable WDDM Vista driver for your GPU if you were to use the DVI port.

    I wouldn't be too sure about that. Not very many notebooks will output more than 1600x1200. I did a quick google and couldn't find anything useful, so you might want to try asking Sony what the maximum resolution is.
