I was totally amazed when I saw that I gained 20GB by upgrading to ultimate. Just the 20GB gain almost makes the upgrade worthwhile.

Eh? So Vista Business takes 20 gig more space on the hard drive than Ultimate, even though Ultimate has everthing Business does and more?

20 gigs? Looks highly impossible. There is no way that Vista business will hog so much of extra space. If at all, the ultimate version might take up a couple of megs more than the business because of the added features.

I am just stating what happened to me. Beore I upgraded to Ultimate I had 40GB of free space. After the upgrade I was surprised to see that I had 60GB. It did not seem like I lost any data files. Given the problems I now have with Ultimate I would wait a few weeks before upgrading.
