I've been looking at laptops, specifically the displays, for awhile. The only non-matte one I've found that I've really liked it the X-Brite DuraView on the Sony VAIO Z and TT serieses. However, I'd like a larger laptop and one with more powerful graphics (preferably ATI) than those. Unfortunately, the F-Series does not appear to have DuraView as an option, and its screen is much more in line with the likes of Toshiba, Dell, HP, Asus, and the like - perhaps slightly less glossy, but nowhere near as good as the excellent X-Brite DuraView. If it had the DuraView screen, it would be almost exactly what I'm looking for.
So, my question to y'all is, are there any other Sony notebooks with X-Brite DuraView available - particularly ones with good, preferably ATI, graphics? Or, are there notebooks available from other manufacturers with the same screen technology?
The hardware ID of the 1600x900, 13-inch DuraView screen on a Z-Series that I saw at MicroCenter is SNY06FA; unfortunately so was the one on the 1600x900, 15.6-inch F-Series they had which had a very noticeably different screen.
(note that I'm referring to the "old" F-series, not the new one unveiled today - specwise, I actually prefer the old one to the new)

The Z HAS a matte screen, that's what DuraView is.

Oh, really? I thought the X-Brite part of it meant Glossy, and the DuraView covering was what made it not-so-glossy. Well, in that case it's my favorite matte screen that I've seen thus far, beating out the likes of the ThinkPad T500's matte screen, and I'd still like to be able to buy it on a larger model.

There are other "matte" screens, like ones found on the Thinkpads you mentioned, Dell's Latitude E series and Precision workstation series (really overpriced for the quality ... avoid), and HP's Probooks and Elitebooks (a favorite for some people). Also, Apple added matte to the MBP 15" and 17" but it is a $50 premium over the glass screens. I'm sure there are others, but most of them are for the professional market, not the consumer one. Companies usually aim for glossy because they think consumers are attracted to it (to any computer companies reading this: WE HATE GLOSSY SCREENS WITH BURNING PASSION
GIVE US CHOICES)
