I just purchased a z590uab and I was wondering if the x25-m is much better than the SSD included in the z590uab. I have not received the laptop yet but from what I have read, it has 64Gb Samsung SLC Raid 0. I have the x25-m NIB, so if it is better than the SSD included, then I think Im going to make the switch. I tried to use the search button but did not manage to get any info about the comparison. If someone have read about this somewhere, would be glad if you could help me on this.

Are you sure that it's two 64GB and not 128GB? If it's a single 128GB, then the Intel will beat it hands down.
Otherwise, the two 64GB is better in write speed than x25-M

x25-M may be is the best MLC in the market but I prefer SLC over the MLC.

Im not sure yet whether it's 64 x 2 or just one piece 128Gb. From what Ive read, the newer z590 CTO comes with one piece 128Gb and some also reported they have 64 x 2 MLC SSD in their recent purchase of z590 CTO. I'm just hoping that the 64Gb in the z590uab are SLCs.

it sucks that Sony won't tell you anything about their parts, like who does the hdd or what are the read/write speeds on it. I ended up buying an Intel 80GB (the 160GB was just released for about 1000$) and I am really happy with it. I think the RAID vers would be faster, but unless you know for sure ....

Its confirmed that the z590uab comes with 2 Samsung SLC SSD. But I'm still not sure about the comparison between the SSD and the intel x25-m...
