    Apologizes if this has been address already (I saw one post where someone stated this was the case, but nobody responded). I'm considering purchasing a VGN-FW190. Is XBRITE-HiColor™ = LED LCD?

    No, it's a double lamp CCFL display.

    It is brighter than many LED screens though. Notebookjournal measured it at an average brightness of 357 cd/m². (which is very high)
