    hello everyone,

I want to purchase a FZ series notebook, wanted to know if there is a noticeable difference between the two. I don't care much about looking at blueray but I will be looking at a lot of XRays on it so which ever has the higher contrast ratio the better.

Has anyone seen the two screens that can comment? or any reviews comparing the two out ther?

    thanks,

There is definitely a difference between the two. The images on the hicolor screen is much crisper and brighter. It is well worth the $50.

AFIAK, HiColor have dual-lamp while Eco has single-lamp. There may be other differences as well. And yes, 50$ is well worth the price.
