    Hello,

Three times I ordered a customized VGN FS690 without XBrite and three times Sony sent me a unit with XBrite ECO.

Today I talked with a Sony agent and she said that the non XBrite model is called XBrite ECO and that it has only 1 bulb compared to 2 bulbs of the
    XBrite model.

She also said that both the XBrite and non XBrite models (aka XBrite ECO) are glossy and that the FS 690 does not
    come with anti glare screen.

Is this true? Is the non XBrite model called XBrite ECO? What is the difference beteen XBrite and XBrite ECO ?

I am looking for a decent looking 13" to 15" WXGA with anti glare screen and soft keyboard to replace my old Sharp UM30W.

    Thanks,

    Kamtsa

I've never even heard of X-Brite eco. I heard that Sony had put X-Brite technology in all of their laptop LCD's.
