    How likely is it that Sony will release XP drivers for the next laptop models? I mean new models and not simply a refresh.

    How likely is it that businesses in this economy will buy Sony laptops and not far cheaper alternatives like Dell and Lenovo?

    XP will only be available when the demand is strong enough, and that means businesses with the clout to tell the vendors what they want.
    So no, I don't think it likely at all.
