    Hello!

I am a owner ( soon to be former owner) of a Sony FW250J

Everything has been fine for 6 months

Wireless then decided to suddenly stop working
The physical green wireless light would not turn on even though the switch was in the on position

Got the light to come on in debug mode
But when it did work and could detect my router
It wouldnt connect for "windows association failed" reasons

Now Im trying to install Windows XP 64 on the laptop
And when I boot the disc
I get the blue screen saying "were trying to save you so run chkdsk and check your hdd"

Ive tried multiple times to reinstall, restore, start from default, start from a complete wipe....and the wireless STILL wont work - and yes Ive tried updating the drivers for the Intel wifi 5100....nothing.

Anyone can tell me what I can do?
Or if there is a way to install xp on the sony fw250J?

Any help will be considered wonderful!
    Thank You!

P.S. I also talked to Sony reps online, phone, and in store...and they all just want me to ship my laptop away and charge me over 300-1000 dollars....which....yeah...

    Please help!
