So I remember another user mentioning this is another thread, and I noticed it myself the first time I turned on the Vaio, but is it normal to have a yellowish tint for the Full HD 1920x1080 screen on the Vaio Z?

I've been trying to tune the settings to make it more cool, but you can notice the yellowish tint all the way from the startup (Vaio logo/bios screen).

If anything, I find the typical Z is way too cold - more than 10000K.
    Backlight problem, maybe?

^Agreed. That doesn't sound right and judging by your comments about seeing it at startup it sounds like "black" also has a yellow tint? Sounds like something is wrong.
